I receive the error message "Cellular plans from this operator cannot be added"

When you encounter an error message while trying to install an eSIM, it may be because your device is locked to a carrier. To check your phone's lock status, follow these instructions.

First, open the Settings app, go to the General section, and then select About. Look for information regarding Carrier Lock: if the message "No SIM restrictions" appears, your device is unlocked. If this message is not displayed, it is recommended that you contact your carrier to have your phone unlocked.

If your current carrier confirms that the phone is indeed unlocked and the problem persists, it is recommended that you contact technical support for further assistance.
