Use the page content field for the main answer, steps, screenshots, and troubleshooting guidance.
This guide is designed to walk you through the step-by-step process of integrating an eSIM into an Apple device running iOS 16.3. Two installation methods are available: using a QR code or manual installation.
Before you begin, make sure you have the following on hand:
-

-
An eSIM-compatible device (see the list of compatible devices here if you're unsure).
-
An unlocked device, meaning one that isn't restricted to a specific network carrier (a link here will guide you in checking your device's unlock status).
Remember to enable data roaming after installation for the eSIM to function correctly.

Step 2: Tap "Continue" and wait up to 10 minutes for the eSIM to activate, then tap "Done."
Step 3: You can either continue directly or change the eSIM name. To change the name, tap the ">" symbol on the right, choose a predefined name or enter a custom name, such as "My eSIM," then tap "Done" and "Continue."
Note that if your device already has multiple eSIMs installed, this renaming option will not be available.
