Use the page content field for the main answer, steps, screenshots, and troubleshooting guidance.
Vivo now integrates eSIM technology into several of its new phones, making mobile connectivity easier on the go. Models such as the Vivo X90 Pro, the V29 Lite 5G in Europe, and the X100 Pro benefit from this advancement. To find out if your Vivo model is compatible, we recommend checking with the manufacturer or consulting our list, which is updated monthly.
In this guide, we explain two simple methods to install and activate your Vivo eSIM: using a QR code and manually entering activation codes. Follow our steps to easily set up your eSIM.
Before installing your Vivo eSIM:
- Verify that your device is unlocked and compatible with eSIM.
- Connect to a stable Wi-Fi network to ensure a smooth installation.
- Make sure you have your QR code or activation codes readily available.
- If one method fails, try the other. For example, if the QR code doesn't work, switch to manual entry.
To add an eSIM to your Vivo device, you have two simple options. You can choose to scan a QR code or manually enter the activation information. We'll guide you step-by-step through each method to help you choose the one that works best for you.
To install an eSIM using a QR code:
Go to "Settings," select "Network & Internet," then "SIM & Mobile Network." Enable the eSIM option and select "Add." Scan the QR code to begin the installation (keep this window open to prevent installation failure). Uncheck the "Automatically activate eSIM" option, then tap "Add." Complete the eSIM activation once you arrive at your destination.
To manually install an eSIM:
Go to "Settings," select "Network & Internet," then "SIM card & mobile network." Enable the eSIM option and select "Add." Tap "Enter activation code manually" and enter the full code received by email (including "LPA" and the colon ":"). Select "Add," then uncheck the box.
