What can I do if my device is locked by the network or the carrier?
Use the page content field for the main answer, steps, screenshots, and troubleshooting guidance.
When you purchase a device through a mobile carrier or network provider, it may be locked to their specific network. In other words, restrictions may be applied, preventing you from connecting to other networks.
If your device is locked to the network or carrier, installing an eSIM is not possible. To bypass this and use an eSIM, you will need to ask your network provider or carrier to unlock your device.
If your device was recently unlocked, the eSIM functionality may be temporarily disabled for security reasons by your carrier. If this is the case, it is advisable to contact your carrier or network provider so they can adjust your device's security settings.
