I'm getting the error "This code is no longer valid"
Use the page content field for the main answer, steps, screenshots, and troubleshooting guidance.
You might encounter this error message when trying to add an eSIM that's already in use, or if the QR code wasn't scanned correctly due to a poor connection.
To check if your eSIM is already installed, follow these instructions:
Go to your device's settings, then to the "General" section. Next, select "About" and scroll down to the relevant section. If the eSIM is active, you'll see the ICCID number [NUMBER] followed by an additional digit, provided the eSIM line is listed as "Activated" in your cellular plans. Note: If the eSIM has been removed, you won't be able to reinstall it!
If this is the first time you're installing the eSIM, this error could be due to a poor connection, a VPN being enabled, or having too many eSIMs on your device.
To properly install your eSIM, follow these steps:
1. Disable any active VPN.
2. Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
3. Delete any unused eSIMs.
4. Verify that your software is up to date.
5. Try a different installation method than the one you previously used.
