Can I use the interconnect (personal access point)?

Use the page content field for the main answer, steps, screenshots, and troubleshooting guidance.

Of course, you can use your personal hotspot via your eSIM, provided your device and carrier support it.

For iOS users:

Start by opening your device's Settings. Then, go to "Personal Hotspot" and enable the "Allow others to connect" option. Next, check the eSIM setup page to see if manual APN configuration is required. If so, here's how to do it for the hotspot:

In Settings, select "Cellular/Mobile Data." Then, find your eSIM under "Cellular/Mobile Data Plans" and go to "Cellular/Mobile Data Network." Enter the APN for the personal hotspot exactly as shown in the eSIM setup instructions (all lowercase, no spaces). Leave the username and password fields blank.

For Android users:

Here are the steps to set up the hotspot on your device:

Before enabling the hotspot and tethering, configure an APN. From the home screen, access Settings by swiping down the notification bar and selecting the gear icon. Then, go to "Network & Internet," and then select "Hotspot & tethering." Enable "Wi-Fi hotspot" by tapping it.
