How can I find out which eSIM is using the data?
Use the page content field for the main answer, steps, screenshots, and troubleshooting guidance.
To identify which eSIM is using data on your device, follow these steps depending on your operating system:
On iOS:
Start by opening your iPhone's Settings app. Then, select Cellular or Mobile. In the Cellular Data section, you'll see which plan is currently being used for data. If you have multiple eSIMs installed, your device will display all available options, provided they are marked as "On" under Cellular Plans.
On Android:
Note that the steps may vary slightly depending on your phone model, and they do not apply to Samsung devices. To begin, go to Settings. Then, tap Network & Internet, and then Cellular. Here, you'll see which plans are active. If multiple eSIMs are present, the device will indicate which eSIM is active by displaying the name you assigned it during setup.
For Samsung devices:
Open Settings on your Samsung device, then go to Connections. From there, enter SIM card manager. Scrolling down the menu, you will see under Preferred SIM card which line is currently selected for mobile data.
