How can I tell which SIM card is using data?

Use the page content field for the main answer, steps, screenshots, and troubleshooting guidance.

To avoid extra charges from your primary carrier while roaming, it's recommended that you configure your phone to use only the mobile data associated with your Yesim profile. This is easy to do. Go to Settings, then to the Mobile Data or Cellular tab, and select Mobile Data. Then, disable the option to automatically switch mobile data.

If you prefer not to disable this option but want to know which SIM card is active for mobile data, go to your device's mobile or cellular settings. Under the "Mobile Data" section, you'll see whether your phone is using data from your primary SIM card (i.e., your usual physical SIM) or the eSIM. If you have multiple eSIMs installed, your device will also display which one is in use, along with the name you assigned it during setup.
